A full range of document management systems are available. These will scale from a single user through to the enterprise business model. All products can be easily managed to meet additional business requirements.
Licensing models are based on concurrent user connections. This unique selling point makes the range of products very cost effective. Only pay for what connections are required at any one time. Software installation is unlimited (volume Personal is not included in this licensing model).
Single user system designed for home use. This is only available for existing business users. The Full Text Word Search facility is available as an additional extra. As an existing business user no training is required and therefore not included.
Multi-user system designed for a single office environment. Full Word Search and auto-page rotation is included. Various links to third party CRM and back-office systems are also included along with a single Terminal Server license and one day of training. Microsoft Office integration comes as standard.
All the facilities available in volume Professional are included plus an unlimited user environment designed for multiple branches, Citrix and Terminal Server networks. Also included are an unlimited number of Terminal Server scanning installations and an unlimited number of Citrix and Terminal Server licenses. This package is designed to meet the requirements of any large sized business without increasing costs exponentially. Because there is no charge for additional Citrix server and Terminal Server licences you can confidently add additional users as your business makes future acquisitions and organically grows.
Remote hosted system. The database is hosted on one of our dedicated remote servers held in a UK secure data centre monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Each server has 10MBit up and down data streams allowing for fast data access. volume Remote is a unique way of accessing your data, over secure data channels, from anywhere in the world; all that is required is a broadband internet connection. All local aspects of the system such as scanning, Microsoft Office integration, CRM and back-office links, etc remain the same as a standard local installation.

Take your files anywhere. Options are available to place files onto a laptop, memory stick or burn directly onto a CD. All software required to view the files is included; no software installation is required. All data is held securely inside a database; no external files are used. Data is secured with a username and password. An optional expiry date can also be applied.
This add-on includes fully automated email storage without the need to enter any indexing information making email filing quick and efficient. Word and Excel documents can be stored directly into volume without the need to save them in external files on your computer. They also become part of the document version control system so existing documents can be worked on keeping a complete history of changes. A copy of mail merged letters for marketing campaigns, for example, can be automatically stored against each individual client file using a simple wizard displayed at the time when the mail merge is actioned from inside Microsoft's Word.
An intelligent way to connect Volume™ to back-office, CRM and client management systems. No bespoke software is required to link to other systems for example ‘ACT! by Sage’ . Simply click the data fields as they appear in the third party system and Volume™ remembers where to retrieve the client’s data from.
A full suite of passive training software is installed with all packages. They cover all aspects of the system from day-to-day use, administration, Microsoft Office Integration and many more subjects. The guides are simple to follow and take you through the system step-by-step to get a good understanding of how it all works. Choose to watch as much or as little as required. 10-15 minutes is all that is necessary to get a typical user up and running.
volume Server provides full OCR and text search capabilities. This is a fully automated and autonomous Windows service running on your server which will OCR (optical character recognition) all scanned images which can then be searched on. The ultra fast search facility also includes all other file types such as Word, Excel and Emails. Pages that have been scanned in landscape or up side down will also be automatically rotated to their correct orientation. Monitoring and controlling of this process can be performed remotely from any machine on the network.
